well for the second time it's been cancelled, the crappy scottish weather is at it again.funnily enough it's suppose to be a heat wave over britain with record temps since rcords began for the month of october.no use if it's absolutely pishing down.i can't see it getting played this year now,i have a medal tomorrow though if it stays dry enough.

well that was short and sweet

the good old scottish weather takes over again......the course was closed when i arrived and the rain wasn't for letting up.so looks like it will be re-scheduled so here's hoping we get some decent weather.

a bit annoyed because i was really looking forward to this,i struggled ot get to sleep last night and i was up at 4am.....that's how excited i was lol!!!!

it's finally been re-scheduled to this saturday(1st october).......i was away for a short break to my fathers so i need to get back upto scratch.

i'm not back to work until monday so i had tue, wed, today and tomorrow to practise and get ready.i hit some balls on tuesday night starting off with the 56* wedge from about 60yrds out.i was just trying to get the feel back after not playing for a week.i then moved on to the 4 iron then the 48* wedge.i finished off with 10 drives and that was me for the night.i was pleased with how i was hitting it.

yesterday i went down to callander to play 9 holes with the occasional practise at the greens.but the course was soaked so i opted to only practise on a few and i tried to not loft the ball too much, the course will struggle to be ready for saturday but here's hoping the rain stays away.i went out onto the course and played the 6th then jumped across to the 11th and played in from there.i hit the ball relatively well and played 2 balls for each hole.

today i'm going to play 9 holes at my home course and practise on greens every so often....then tomorrow i'll head down to callander and play some more with putting thrown in on the putting green.

my goal is to get cut as much as i can,i know i'm capable of it but i just need to maintain it for the whole round.so many times this year i've been scoring really well and then i somehow manage to play the last 6 holes pretty badly
