Default Finally joined a club
Well I took the plunge and officially became a club member today. What really sold me was how good the course is. No dry or damaged grass at all. Every course I have played has been in bad shape and this one isn't. Its in a retirement community and on the way home from work so I figured why not. Should have my official GHIN HC soon.

Very nice! I have been a club member for at least 30 years. Well worth the money.

Congrats! I'm in my 2nd year as a member, and because I get the intermediate under 30 rate, last year I worked it out that each round I played cost me about 5 bucks. Awesome.

That's pretty cheap. Looks nice. Nothing in that price range in the Pittsburgh area as far as I know. Enjoy!

WOW expensive to what i am use to seeing around here in Harrisonburg VA. We pay right around $1000 annually for a membership but it's just public courses not a whole country club. Looks really nice and congrats. Being a member is a great thing and well worth it if you play enough golf. About 2 hrs away from me.

Thats cheap for anything within an hour from me. This is I guess semi private. You can only play as a guest with a member but the next best was $3000 and there course is nice but is in horrid shape. Maybe swing on up one Saturday and we can play.

Seems like a deal to me for a private club in good shape. I envy you.

Wish I could join a club. The ones around here have annual fees that cost more than a car. The one closest to be has an initiation fee of over $80,000. So, I just bought bulk rounds at the local public courses. It's a decent discount at 20% off regular.

Looks like a great find Vince! With the way the economy has turned the past few years I keep hoping some of the local courses will offer up some specials on memberships....but no luck yet.

I live in Orlean, just outside of Warrenton. The club is in Gainsville.
