Default Finaly "CRACKED" into the 80's
I am so wrapped about getting my best score ever with an 88 on sunday.
And what made it even sweeter was 2 guys from my work were there to see it after all the games i have played on my own and a few with some close friends it all fell into place.
With lots of rounds trying out different balls i have found the 1 that suits my game best Titleist ProV1X,and with what i consider the best clubs going arounnd had a great day with 7 pars and only the 1 birdie...shout have been a little lower but my wedge shots let me down a few times.
now my goal is to stay in the 80's and aim for the 70,s....LOVE THIS GAME.

Congrats mate!!! Keep on practicing and the scores will keep dropping. 100 yards and in is where you cut strokes off.

Keep it going! It's not too far off of 85 then on down to 80.

Congrats!!! One piece of advice I will give you is to aim for low 80's consistantly. Getting into the 70's is a whole new ball game. One of the easier goals to get in golf is in the 80's. After that, its a tough hill to climb. So, dont get down if you dont hit the 70's for a while. Best advice I wish someone had given me.

Good job! I was happy to get into the 90's last week. Now I'm hoping I can do what you did.

the jump from the 90s to the 80s is a big step for beginner golfers. in all reality, even most of your single number handicap players have shot in the 80s recently.

Congrats. After 2 years of golfing I squeaked into the 80's with a 89 last month. Feels amazing and my goal right now is to stay under a 100 and keep edging towards 85.

I don't know, I've been trying for about 27 years to get into the 80's. Still trying. Congrats though schultzy.
