I wear glasses all the time, including while golfing. Never been a problem for me. I have no line bifocals and transition lenses so no need for sunglasses.

I wear contacts almost exclusively. The rare occasion is first thing in the morning or just before bed when I wear glasses. I want LASIK real bad, but that's not in the near future. I wear sunglasses at times, but they can slip too, it just depends on the time and where the sun may be. I usually don't wear much on my head other than a hat on the course. So i'm kinda in the same boat.

I wear Nike 8064's all the time... I have never had an issue with them while playing golf. The frame is very light, and they stay in place. The lenses are small, so I wear them a bit out on my nose so that I can keep my head from being too tilted.

I wear contact lenses for golf as, just like the original post I couldn't focus on the ball properly. Plus when it rains here it rains and glasses really are no good!!!

I would love laser eye surgery too but it's not something I have money to burn on at the moment.

My oakley sunglasses are great if I need them they don't slip at all. I never have problems with sunglasses, just regular ones. Someday I hope to just get lasik, my eye doctor said he thinks I would qualify if I went to the lasik place but it os just sooooo expensive!

I've worn glasses all my life and I've never had a problem with golf.

I DID have a bit of an adjustment period when I went to "no line" bifocals, but that was something that worked itself out within a week or so.
I also wear Transition lenses so the sunglasses part is taken care of as well.

I wear glasses, and, until recently, I wore them all the time including on the course. You couldn't pay me to wear contacts, and lasik is way too expensive for me. When my eyes readjusted after being on my metformin for a while, my eyesight got better for everything except reading and on the computer. Now, I don't wear my glasses even when driving. I always had problems with glasses sliding down my nose, whether it was adjustable nosepiece or fixed. I just learned to deal with it over the years. I also couldn't wear sunglasses for anything at all, ever. then, I was just recently given a pari of Bolle sunglasses and wear them constantly on the course, and that nosepiece never slides down. I will agree with the others on here, if you have RX sunglasses(if needed) or any sport style glasses, I would just wear those whenever possible.

I agree on the Metformin. I take 4 a day along with a bit of NovoLog. Diabetes no doubt has a major effect on the eyes, and you need to protect them while playing in the sun. I go to the eye doctor next month and I plan to look into getting something else for golf although I get along ok with my regular glasses.

I like the Oakley's, but my doctor wanted $675 last year with my prescription which is not somewhere I'm willing to go.

What Iv'e thought about doing next year when I get to get new frames, is gettign the sunglasses part that fits over the lenses so I don't have to have 2 pairs of anything, but, since my eyes have corrected themselves quite a bit, not sure that i will need to wear them when I play golf anymore, which could be a big bonus.

I have bad vision, so I wear glasses or contacts all the time. I always wear my contacts for sports, but have occasionally worn my glasses to the range. When I have my glasses on I just cannot focus on the ball. In order to keep my chin up it basically puts the ball right even with the frames of my glasses so I can't see it, and if I tilt my head down at all they just tend to slide down my nose because of sweat. This has become more of an issue because I recently switched to new plastic Oakley frames. I sweat at work sometimes because we don't have AC, so I just wear my contacts on hot days. Anyhow, I just plan on wearing my contacts every time I golf. I played last week with a very good golfer and it was about 90 degrees, and he wore his glasses the whole time. I've seen quite a few golfers play in glasses, and I just don't know how you do it! Who here wears glasses when they play or who has the same problem as me?
If I want to see where the ball lands, I have to wear either my regular glasses or prescription sunglasses since I can't stand the thought of sticking my finger in my eye multiple times a day. My regular glasses are rimless, so that doesn't cause an issue, and to be honest, if I find myself looking at the ball below my lens, it's a good indication that my posture is where I want it. My sunglasses need to be updated, but as long as they have a bit of wrap to them, they don't cause an issue.
