I always fill my bag with some bananas, apples, small bottles of water, and to compensate all the healthy stuff, a snickers candy bar |

Just make sure that you wash all that health food down with at least a six pack of Bud Light. LOL
Lots of good suggestions in here. I brought along fruit last year during my rounds, and it definitely helped. I always have water with me during the summer. I sweat like a hog so I have to have it or I fall over |

If I read this right and you drive 9 holes and are worn out, maybe some heavy trips to the driving range would help you out a bit. Simulate playing 9 holes on the range, hit driver, 7 iron and wedge and so on until you have hit 40 balls, take 5 minutes and start over again. This will at least adjust your body to making a lot of swings in a "short" period of time.
