No preference really, but there is something nice about that late afternoon round and finishing up just before the sun disappears that always seems like a good way to end the day,

First tee time off in the morning with dew still on the ground.

I like the early morning, its generally pretty quiet and you can hear the birds and such cheering you along...or laughing at me in my case...LOL

I'll play anytime of the day, but here in the high desert, it's coolest and the least windy early in the morning.

I am a fan of the afternoon/evening rounds. Get the twilight rates and it cools down nice for the back nine. Of course that is up here in Canada and not in sunny Fla

I voted mid-day but there's something about starting a round at 3pm and finishing up with the sun setting. Very calming and beautiful
This absolutely. I love watching the sunset while walking down the fairway. Plus you can save a few bucks!!

When I play 18, I usually tee off around 4:00-4:30.
When I play 9, I usually tee off anywhere from 5:45 - 6:15.

On a weekend, you couldn't pay me to roll out of bed before 10am, and mid-day during the summer in Florida isn't even reasonable.

In a perfect world where I were a country club member, it would be mid-morning. That way Im not still half-asleep when Im teeing off. I tend to play on inexpensive, public courses though and they tend to get pretty crowded and have very slow players; so I usually play in the early morning before the riff-raff is out on the course so that I can get out and get back in a few hours and not have to worry about getting stuck waiting behind a bunch of hacks.

I like beauty and calmness at the end of the day also, you can more clearly hear the thud of someone's ball hitting a tree, or "FORE" from an errant tee shot or a splash followed by a few choice words of someone who just knocked their Nike into the drink.

I much prefer early. Preferably one of the first few groups off so we can fly through.
