Default Range Annual Membership prices???
Does anybody have an annual membership to a driving range? How much do you pay? I know a lot of people get them with course memberships, but I can't afford that and wonder if a $400 a year membership is to much?

My course offers an annual membership for $600 a year. That pays for unlimited range balls and discounted prices to play on the course. so to me $400 sounds pretty good

My course is private, so I'm sure some of the range cost is subsidized by dues, etc., but my annual range fee for unlimited balls for both me and my wife is $225. Also keep in mind that everything is cheaper in Pittsburgh!

I pay $480 per year. Unlimited range access with discounted green fees after 1pm. It's worth it for me because I go everyday...

It's about $600 a year for me when I do the math. We also get $17 a round after 3 and good deals otherwise. Good stuff! Well worth it. We have to pay 2 months at a time. I've already hit enough balls to pay for my first $50.

Is the range membership at a course or a range only facility? If just a range facility does the range have a chipping/bunker/putting facitity? Nothing at all against a range facility, just need to have those extra practice options with to make the membership worthwhile. With those other additions the $400 is about right in line IF you are going to use it alot which if you are on this forum you probably will. I am in the Concord area, not too far from you, and thought about a range membership before joining at Irish Creek in Kannapolis. Leatherman's in Charlotte is $650 just to give you a local place to gauge...and that would an awful drive from your area. I know the courses in the Mooresville area but not the ranges so I don't know what the options are on that side of the lake.

At Greysburg Hills it's $300 a year and I'm seriously thinking about it. The facilities are the best in this area by far. I am sure I'd practice more if I could use an unlimited about each time I went.

There is an executive 9-hole par 3 course near me that has a pretty minimalist range (grass + mats) for $300/year. They also have a short game area with 2-3 greens and alot of bunkers / rough where you can work on < 100yard shots & putting for $100/year.

I think I might get the short game membership next year.

nc salesman- This is at the Warrior Golf Club. They have an all grass range, chipping area and putting green. They usally charge $8 for a large bucket, but I would love to hit two of those at a time on practice days. The course is in great condition too! I just don't want to pay $1800 a year for a membership. I also don't like playing at one course all the time. I am pretty religious to the deals on clickitgolf.com.
