It really was a good time, epic might stretch it although I might never forget it, lol. Way too long a round, I would have stayed about that long anyway having fun with the players, but over 9 hours in the heat we had was over the top.

half an hour per hole is a bit much

Hope you guys had some good conversation material because that's just absolutely insane. I would've gotten drunk by the 5th hole and sobered up by the time the round was through. You're a good man Duey.

Thanks Spank, but I've just trained a lot, lol. It was about the 5th hole that I told D_Dub he might have to carry me to the car, haha. On the turn I was drinking water, that never happens.

Allowing that many people on the course is just ridiculous, I would have asked for my money back. Still I'm impressed you stuck it out for the team...and wouldn't worry too much about not playing well; in those conditions anyone would be hard pressed to get anything going!

That is absolutely insane! I don't think I would be able to stay out on the course for that long in that heat. I probably would have melted somewhere along the way!... Either that or left after the first nine.

Wow due, I played in that Nebraska heat as well this weekend, but I was only out in it for a few hours, couldn't have done 9, I know I would have lost a few pounds for sure!

Props to you for sticking it out for your team! A scramble on a 9 hole course? that is the insane part without limiting the number of teams.

I had no idea until we got to the tee box just how many people there was going to be. It don't get any more country than this course, but it's a really nice public course in a very small town. Our team got to the box first and another team showed up and I'm thinking about these young big hitters cleaning my clock, lol, then here comes another team? I thought they were on the wrong hole, haha
