I was during the free beta period but more or less stopped once they went to the paid subscription that I feel is overpriced by at least $10 per year...

I played the Beta a little bit, but I haven't for months. I just don't really have time these days. FWIW, I like TW 05 on PC better. Mostly because I am able to use a controller instead of the mouse.

I thought the Microsoft Links for PC was a great game with some really great courses and realism.. Wonder what happened to that?

It's a great game, and they even finally made one for the OS X platform. The game lives on here http://lspn.net/ and here http://www.linkscountryclub.com/

You can still buy the great courses, for a fraction of the original cost. There's quite a following.

I bought the membership to TW Online after playing the beta. I bought it in lieu of the XBox 360 version this year. I don't play it that much though (just a few rounds a week). It's pretty boring once you hit level 50 and have the character stats maxed out. Nothing worth spending "money" on since all the clubs are micro transaction real money.

Graphics are really pretty good for a "cloud" game.

Still an active designing membership at http://www.linkscorner.com/ too.

I used to like that as well...had some good courses, and eventually featured Arnie Palmer...how can you top that?

it was fun for about 5 mins...then I got sick of it and went back to TW on the Xbox 360...I don't like having to pay a subscription to play a game
