I am going to play in a tournament tomorrow and was wondering if wearing one of those forearm bands is permissible under USGA rules. Been feeling some slight golfers elbow and was going to use on for some added support but I want to be legal.

Any rules gurus out there...I need your help.

I'm not 100% sure shat it is that you're talking about. But if it's what I think it is you will be fine. On the LPGA Yani Tseng plays with one on all the time.

I just got this answer a week or so ago from the forum rules expert, Fourputt. You're good to go. Exception to rule 14-3.

1. A player is not in breach of this Rule if (a) the equipment or device is designed for or has the effect of alleviating a medical condition, (b) the player has a legitimate medical reason to use the equipment or device, and (c) the Committee is satisfied that its use does not give the player any undue advantage over other players.
