Default Hit Balls Next to a Pinnacle/Cobra LD Staffer
I was at my home course on the grass range hitting golf balls with my son today. I heard this tremendous crack of a driver hitting a ball next to me. I looked over and watched this guy hit his next shot. "Crack!" It sailed over the range and over the 7th hole tee box. I've never seen a golf ball hit so far. He hit lefty, righty, with just his right arm, and he hit a one-iron. He absolutely massacred the one-iron...260 at least. His eight-iron shots went obscenely high and far. He had four drivers in his bag and these ancient pure blade irons. The ball flight of his drives and and one-irons was other worldly. One driver he played was a 5.5º Cobra Pro D with a XX-stiff House of Forged shaft.

It was fun to watch.

This gentleman was swinging hard. I felt sorry for the ball and the club head. :-)

What I really hate are those people that don't hit too far... in the 270 range...but have the smoothest swing and their consistency is insane. Pisses me off!

A couple of years ago I had a station behind a long-drive guy on the range. He had a bag filled with seemingly identical drivers only! A fit tall guy, and very much built up! The sound of his hits was just unbelievable, and I was scared for my life, hoping that the station-to-station distances were properly set up for extra long driver shafts! He snapped off one driver-head and flew it further than I can carry my PW. He had a helper with him trying to see where his balls were going: Funny thing was, both he and his helper had no clue where his balls were going! I had very good eyesight back then, but even though I could pick up his balls I did lose sight of them before they came down. They went incredily far, and extremely high. Not a single one hit the range: He sliced the whole bucket over the right fence!

That Cobra LD is the loudest driver around. My friend used to play one and I could hear it almost 400 yards away when he hit it. I play the 3 wood and love it. When you hit it solid it makes a loud crack as well haha.
