With the most of the crew that I play with loosing your temper is just an invitation for the busting of chops. Once they start they won't let up until they have another target. We all take turns. |

I try to hold onto my temper. The only thing I can think of that I do with regularity is make a motion to throw my club but I don't actually really swing, I think I get to about 50% of the way to heaving it. MO or Jeff or my wife could tell you if that's all true or not true.

I dunno, there's a difference between losing your temper and getting frustrated. Losing your temper, to me means yelling/screaming, throwing things, hitting stuff, etc. Popping a nut as it were.
I can get frustrated. Yesterday I mishit a ball on the first hole(3 shots, 3 mishits) and I dropped an fbomb. Not real loud but then I remembered I was paired up with someone. No idea if he heard me or not but I said excuse me and didn't swear again. Sometimes I'll hold my club in my right hand and kinda swing it up and down a bit after a bad shot. I'm not hitting the ground or putting any real force into it. I'm sure you can tell I'm not happy but it's not like my face is red, I have both hands on the club and I'm swinging it like an ax..... |
