Default Winter exercise
With the frozen golf tundra and the x-c skiers gliding across the fairways, I'm not getting much golf in these days. To keep myself from totally going to pot (shape), I continue to run, do some light weights, and do some balancing-type exercises.

What are you all doing to stay in golf-shape when the clubs have to be put away for awhile, even if it's just a few weeks?

BTW, I did a search for "winter exercise" and didn't come up with anything, so if there is info already here, please feel free to point me in the right direction.

Thanks!
Dan

You have cross country skiers, and we have kids with skate boards cruising the cart paths. Such a deal.

I go to the gym six days a week and do some cardio, light weights, and a lot of stretching.

I try to play as much volleyball as I can. Otherwise, I alternate powerlifting, kettlebells, and cardio to keep active 7 days a week.

I'm in the gym 5-6 days a week, lifting fairly heavy weights for about 20-30 minutes and am on the elliptical or stationary bike for another 45.

Around here lately it would seem snow shovelling is the excercise of choice.

That's my main plan... I am going to shovel snow every time we get it this winter. That should keep me in the shape I am now.

Gym four days a week, running, elliptical machine, and resistance weights, of course for me that is a round the year routine.

Sure it does unless you're one of those who drives a car and hangs your arm with the leash out the window

Do people really do that? I still laugh when I see people walking around the neighborhood pushing their dogs in a stroller, what is up with that?

I've seen plenty of people do that with golf carts, never with cars though.

Ugh I can't stand her, and I can't stand Kim Kardashian either. I won't go on a rant here but they both really irritate me. Ok back to winter exercises.

I can still get outside to excercise (not this past week) but when I can't, I use my treadmill and do some stretching.

Do they have indoor ranges around where you can still get out there and swing a club and hit some balls?
