Well, unfortunately I have had the flu so I called them to cancel.

Fortunately, according to their website, they will be in MN at LEAST once a month for the next few months, so I should have another chance to get fitted by them.

dust-i know you are in the process of replacing most of the stuff in your bag but was wondering what you're planning on replacing your irons with? you mentioned demo'ing the cg7 bp's, but i was wondering if you were going to compare them with anything else? i'm just curious if b/c those bp's are gorgeous and they're def on my radar, just wanted to know if you were going to put them up against other brands.

The BP's are definately the clubs I WANT to get. Everytime I head into a golf store I hit them, and hit them darn well.

That being said, I have also hit some Taylor Made Burners, NIKE Victory Red Forged, Wilson Staff Ci7, and Mizuno Mx-300's.

All were very good clubs, when I was ON the NIKE's gave me the best distance, But I was most consistant with the CG7's, and MX-300's.

I have been a cleveland fan since I have gotten back into golf, and its the reason i would really like to get the Cg7BP's.

But I will go into everything with an open mind.

Default Cleveland Golf Demo Day - My first fitting
So I just found out that Cleveland Golf is coming to Eden Prairie, MN on the 13th and 14th. This is my first attempt at a professional fitting, let alone one by the actual company itself. The fitting costs 50$, but is free if you purchase Cleveland clubs.

I have a appointment set for 1pm on the 13th. Fitting for CG7 Black Pearl Irons, and Wedges.

What should I look forward too? Should I wear 'golf clothes' and bring my shoes?

Anything else I can do to prepare myself for the day?

Just go prepared to hit a lot of balls. I am assuming that it will be indoors? If so, just wear whatever would be comfortable to golf in. It is a demo day, not a fashion show. I would wear sweats with shorts under so you can peel layers if you get too hot. Unless you have quiet feet, I would bring your golf shoes as well. Indoors off a mat, your feet can still slip. Take your glove(s) too. Hitting a bunch of balls indoors, you will probably work up a sweat.

I have no idea of the facility you are going to, but if possible, hit balls before you start. It will do you no good to go in cold and have to work up to a regular swing. They would probably let you hit a few before starting, but if it takes a while for you to warm up, go somewhere and hit a bucket before you start. We have a big demo day in my area once a year at a public course. I will go to another course and hit a bucket before going so I am not stiff trying to hit new clubs.
