Default The season is really over
Here is where my wife and I spent the day 2 weeks ago today (Oct 16):

Note all the crowds on the beach... this is the most people we have ever seen there. I know that others come here because we have seen footprints, but that's all. This is 15 miles from where we are building our beach cottage in the Bahamas.

Then...... here is where I'm spending today (Oct 30):

Our handicap season doesn't even end until tomorrow, but the playing season ended on the 27th of October. I played the last day... played the back 9 twice and birdied the 18th hole both times... guess that's as good a memory to take into the off season as any I can think of.

Looks like the golf season is officially over.

Ouch. Sorry to hear that. But you got the good memory at least.

That looks depressing. How long is the drive to the closest golf course without snow?

Handicap season may be over, but Denver has such weird weather - you could be playing again in a week.

Hard to feel sorry for a guy that's building a beach cottage in the Bahamas Looks like paradise to me.

This is definitely possible. It's hard to predict. Just have to wait and see.
