Default Bummer
I'm bummed because my game this afternoon got canceled. I couldn't get away from work and it was such a shame because it was warm and sunny today, perfect fall golf weather.

My next best hope is to play Friday afternoon but it's supposed to be cold and rainy. I don't mind though, I've got rain gear and I'm dying to play.

Of all the people who can feel my pain, ya'll can..

Yes I am, (said in the most self controlled tone available, ) I just went to the store and it's not even fog at all, it's a fine mist so thick it looks like fog. Not only could I not see a ball, but would get soaked to boot, lol.

I want to have a little talk with Mr Weatherman, this was not to happen until tonight after midnight!

The good news is that there are plenty of other days to play. Perhaps you could go to the range - is there a covered one? Or practice your putting indoors? Or just go out and buy yourself something special to make you feel better.

LOL, I liked the last one! No covered ranges here, but may go to the range later. My family room DVR is out, so called them. They will be here between 1 and 3 PM.

If someone shoots up the Post office it's called "going postal", what's it called when you shoot up the weather station?

I feel your pain...Weather is not on our side here in Ohio. Weekends always end up crappy, but the days that I am slammed at work are beautiful and perfect to play.

It's Murphy's Law (and if I ever get my hands on Murphy....)

I think it is called taking one for the team because everybody wishes they could do it at one point or another. Or, maybe, justifiable homicide.

I'll be hoping the weather man is wrong. I'm going to break out the rain gear on Friday afternoon and bundle up, but at least I'll get out to play. If the weather man is wrong though, I'll be chillin in shortsleeves!
