I guess this is what the Teabagger's do between rallies.

But when your family tree resembles a telephone pole, what can you really expect?

I resent comments like this. I am a conservative and I find this is an offensive comment on a public forum. Just because someone is not a Liberal and a Democrat does not make them white trash hicks. Just in turn how a Liberal Democrat is not a sex loving drug addict hippie.

I am not saying that I support people doing these sort of acts ANYWHERE! But we do have the right to protest. Just as we have rights to go to hall meetings and demonstrate that we are not happy with new proposals of any sort wether it is gun laws or health care reform.

Therefore, please do not make any offensive comments because someone may not agree with you.

I have no strong leanings politically, both parties are full of nuts and also well intentioned and smart people. I just hope that at some point both sides start telling eveyone the actual unvarnished truth about what is going on so we can make informed decisions based on facts.

So far, the strident rhetoric on both sides is not helpful.

I still think a sense of humor is in order. Jeez, don't take life so seriously, no one gets out alive.

I find that if you have one left wing and one right...it keeps you from flying around in circles like a nut...and C-Tech is right. Life is a short journey so enjoy the ride...

Life is short and I do enjoy it. You could say that I am a little more "sensitive" to such comments because I am a farmer and I get it quite frequently. I just feel that this is a public forum on the world wide web where many people have access and therefore no one should make offensive comments about either party beacuse this is a website about golf and anyone who enjoys the sport should feel welcome at all times.

You're absolutely right, Kimeran, thanks for speaking your mind. And the guys are right, in the end it's all relatively unimportant, not worth hurt feelings. (Dig the bird analogy, by the way!)

Well I'm from Greensfork Indiana and I grew up right in the middle of corn and soybeans and it has been my observation the farmers are good folks. Welcome to the site. I don't think JP was pointing that at you...he's just....opinionated.....

Kimeran - Most of us talk golf most of the time. Just skip over the other stuff. I do. Ok - well I whine to JB about some stuff and then I skip over it.
