Like Lefty said, it all depends on what part of LA you will be in.

Check ou this site, click on Souther California, then Orange County, and you should be able to find courses in your area. Southern California Golf Courses - Greenskeeper.org Free Online Golf Community

Anaheim "Dad Miller" Golf Club, and Anaheim Hills are 2 good courses. Black Gold in Yorba Linda is a nice course, but Monarch Beach Links in Dana Point is Amazing. You should at least check out Strawberry Farms.

Anaheim is 30-40 miles from Los Angeles, and it can be two hours in traffic. You will want to play courses down in Orange County or possibly Riverside. I can't recommend specific courses down there, but I can tell you you are not going to want to go up to LA to play golf.

When we take the youngsters to Disneyland, I always try to get on at Costa Mesa CC. Nice course, and the walking prices are right.

Those are the three I always hear good things about when it comes to the OC. I went to Black Gold for a golf school but didnt get a chance to play it.

Keith, if you feel like driving a bit there is always Torrey if you can get on. Ive also heard good things about the Journey at Pechanga and Berrona is where Kenny Rogers plays.
