Just checked and the concert tonight is Bo Bice. I know he's the AI guy - southern rock right? I'm sure we can play to that.

I love Southern Rock, but I think some downhome blues would make a better background for golf.

Does anyone use an iPod while they are practicing on the range or playing? I have seen the Univ of AZ squad practicing at the local range and everyone of them seems to have the earbuds permanently attached. Maybe I am missing an opportunity to improve since it appears all of them have better swings than me....
I've used it on the range, for me it's a good way to clear your mind. Many times I find myself out there thinking about everything other than my golf swing, music in the background helps me to focus.. Seems crazy, but it works for me.

A while ago I was listening to "A Good Walk Spoiled" by John Feinstein and I had an amazing time at the range, balls were flying wherever I wanted them to..

I like to listen to a Hard Core/Metal band called Once Nothing or Norma Jean on my way to play a round. Gets me pumped and also kind of levels me. I have never listened to my iPhone while at the range, I should try that.

I listen to all kinds of music, or books when walking between golf shots. I've seen folks texting between golf shots. Folks wearing blue tooths who look like they are talking to the shrubbery as they walk by. To me, this is just another form of a golfer's post/pre shot routine.

I listen to Black Eyed Peas "I Gotta Feelin" on an endless loop anytime I play or practice. Pumps me up and gets me "golf-ready!"

Default Soundtrack To A Round
I play golf on Thursdays after work and on Thursday evenings in the summer, there are concerts in a nearby park. Last week, we played to Gilby Clarke and tonight to Better Than Ezra. Next week, it's some band called Tonic - don't know who they are. Anyone know if they're good music to play golf to?

Wow, that's awesome.

Lately I've been listening to the Shakespeare In The Park performances while I golf in the evenings. I guess I should go and pick up a playbill to find out what's playing.

Gee, all I get is the factory delivery zone right next to the par 3 over the water. At least the beeping from trucks backing up always gives us an excuse.

I will wear my iPod when at the range, or playing alone. I like it quite a lot, listening to music calms me.

I can't practice without my iPod.

But I can't wear it when playing. Even when I play alone.

Gummi - Can you understand the dialogue or is it just background? For me, the music is loud enough to hear what song is playing.
