I would not want to see a shirtless guy playin golf. Volleyball maybe (i.e the scene from top gun), but that doesn't belong on the golf course.
That is a very HOTTT scene, amazing bodies there.......we are talking about the '55 Chevy's in the background right?

I agree with Blue Arc. Complaining does work. However complaining and then going right back to play regardless doesnt help much. However I can see the same traditional player may complain about Tee Shirts, or the sandals as well.
Well...without knowing how you feel about T's and sandals...I don't like it. The golf clothes they make now are designed for the game. They are cool and as comfortable as anything you can wear. Part of the lure of golf for me was the the tradition of it. Nice looking park like course, nice looking people playing the greatest game ever played! Ha! I love it.

As the economy gets worse, you are going to see many "gentlemen golf rules" being thrown to the way side. Some of these rules are not being enforced just to get any paying customer on to course. We have some courses in Vegas that are struggling. I still dress per the attire rules, but I see many more folks, both males, and females who apparently do not see the signs as they walk onto the property.

We have 2 munis in my town - one attracts a white collar crowd and the other is mostly blue collar. I play at both and even at the latter, I've never seen a shirtless man and trust me - they wear almost anything there.
