It has been revealed that “Gyakuten Saiban” (Ace Attorney) live action film starring Hiroki Narimiya as popular defense lawyer Ryuichi Naruhodo (Phoenix Wright) will have its US Premier on California AM2 anime convention.

The AM2 convention plans two screenings, one of which will be available only to premium "Passport" ticket holders, while the second will be open to all attendees and merely grant "Passport" holders preferential seating.
AM2 will take place on June 15-17 at the Anaheim Convention Center and Anaheim Hilton in Anaheim, California. There is no charge for regular attendees.

Set in 2016, the plot of the movie takes place in an urban city in Japan. An increase in heinous crimes forced Japanese attorneys and prosecutors to confront each other in a new court system. With only three days the most, speed is favored over hard evidence and forensic science to prove their innocence.
