Epic Movie was Epic!!!! Ok some inconsistencies that die-hard Marvel Comics/ X-Men fans would notice but other than that an exceptional prequel to the 1st movie! (Even a Wolverine cameo played by Hugh Jackman!)

I recommend seeing this film!

I expected this to be a lot worse than it was. Overall, it was decent. It seemed a little.. stupid, the whole thing with Mystique, and the guy they chose for Magneto just seemed incredibly out of place.

Overall if you don't know a thing about xmen this is a great movie. If you don't know a lot because xmen is full of inconsistencies on its own, it's a stellar movie. If you know a lot about xmen this movie probably made you wanna throw something at the screen at multiple parts.

I'd see it again if I had nothing else to watch, so I guess it was a pretty decent movie.

Young Mystique = Blushing rodent is blushing! O.O

And seriously some of the characters I've never even heard of and I think were just made up for the movie! The black kid(who breathes underwater? Yeah so can the whole Atlantean race, talk about predictable), the girl that looked like a Wasp knockoff with her bug wings, some demon thing that we're supposed to assume now is probly Nightcrawler's daddy(Psh yeah right), and some guy(did he even have a name) that was to me just a Whirlwind knockoff at best(and that's being nice)!

Oh well none of you would have accepted the rest of the real Hellfire Club members if they were in it!

Donald Pierce: A guy that isn't even a mutant! Just has a cybernetic left arm but as time went on became more and more cybernetic wanting to wipe out the human and mutant races with cybernetic replacements! He turned Yuriko Omeyda into Lady Deathstrike! (A former GF of Wolverine's who blames him for her father's death! Her Father was known as the Professor! The head scientist involved in Wolverine's Adamantium bonding process) He has a group of cybernetic criminals and 3 former club guards that called themselves the Reavers! They're basically a threat to the Club and Wolverine!

Harry Leland: Fat rich mutant with a power to create barriers to pretty much hide in and/or push people out his way with! Wolverine's 1st encounter with him caused him to be slammed through every floor of the Hellfire Club down to the sewer below! Wolvie went berserker and sliced guards apart left and right up each and every floor until Emma Frost got in his way! Next thing ya know Jean went all Dark Phoenix and the club members scurried like roachs out of the building leaving the X-Men to deal with her! (This was in the Dark Phoenix storyline to catch the "True Believers" up! ^.^

Jason Wynegarde/Mastermind: Able to take over peoples mind's and do their biddings for them! Able to change his appearance due to his mental manipulations! Pretty tame psychic compared to Jean Grey, Emma Frost, and Charles Xavier's levels of psychic power!

Selene: Sorceress from Conan the Barbarian's time (like 7000 years ago most likely) She's immortal due to the fact she needs to feed off human's life force to sustain her youth and beauty like a vampire!

Oh well at least they got Sebastian Shaw and Emma Frost right! >.>

you really can't expect them to do everything (or really anything right) when there are so many alternate realitys/universes and rewrites of the xmen story line. the whole thing was basically a cluster**** for a long time and they did, imo, the best they could do.

and what are you talking about, being original? what hasn't been done at this point in the super hero community? there are multiples of the same damn mutant ability. magneto isn't the only one with control of metal, for instance. the repetition was the least of my concerns watching this.

Great film, but Michael Fassbender needs to pick a goddamn accent and stick with it for the duration. Though I do admit it was awesome when he said, "Ihr name wurde von schweinehalter...und schneider übernommen." Kevin Bacon also did an awesome job as Shaw, and his death scene was superb. The only character I disliked was Angel, but she by no means ruined the movie.
