I just went to the midnight release and was COMPLETELY disappointed. Why do they do this to movies? I have so many gripes about things they didn't even need, they just added to make half the audience laugh.

I'm all for giant Robots destroying/saving the earth, but can we leave the comedy out of it?

I also saw the midnight showing.
I thought the movie was FANTASTIC
it was funny, the action was amazing, it was true to the actual story. Casting was amazing. Megan Fox is hot. Nuff said

More fighting would have been cool, but the movie as is is good. I thought it was epic lulz that the Dad was telling Sam to dump Megan Fox.

you guys suck the movie was great the first one had some comedy in it you can't just throw that out then they wouldn't be themselves (character wise) i grew up on transformers and there have been so many different shows and stories about them i will admit there were somethings i had wish they added adn left out of this movie but other than that it was amazing it had its own feel and thats what i was expecting and i can't wait till the third 1

The Comedy is what made this movie so damn good. Cause outside of the fight scenes with Bumblebee and Optimus Prime, was boring

i saw both and thought that Transformers was the better of the two..by far

its not perfect, but that shouldnt discourage anyone from going and seeing it...and trash talking about it

I'm not trash talking about it.. it's just a movie... and it was horrible imo. As for why, alright...

1. Movies never surpass the original, making people feel like their expectations were cheated.

2. It focused too much on comedy and not enough on action.

3. I don't like Shia and Megan Fox isn't that good of an actress. I mean seriously, who gives a damn if she's attractive? It has nothing to do with her performance in the movie which I found mediocre.

4. I can't state this reason because it would spoil the surprise for those who haven't seen it.

Just have to go back to this for a quick second... did you seriously just compare this to Star Trek? Wow, first off Michael Bay's directing isn't anywhere near that caliber, the actors in Star Trek were also superior.

This undelivered tbh atm imo btw. That is just your opinion, why should everyone have to agree and necessarily see it? If they don't like it, it turns out to be a waste of money.

If you give this movie a 9.5/10... then you're FAR too easy to impress. I've seen hundreds of movies and haven't given a single one a rating like that in my life. It seems like I'm being overly critical but it's just the way I see it. It in no way makes it a fact or should stop anyone else from seeing it if they like these kinds of movies.

Star Wars to me really sucked and was a major let down

Transformers 2 - Unlike most people I didnt put no astronomical expectations on the movie, just expected it to be a really good movie. But not a movie as good as T1.

If your 1 of those people who are a fan of just Action,Action,Action, and More Action with next to no comedy, then you really bad at judging films. I personally liked idea of them adding a comedic side to the movie. Especially since it keeps to its comic book and old Cartoon show roots, in which good portions of both was filled with comedy.
