Default Superman to dump Singer and restart?
US, August 19, 2008 - Warner Bros. is mulling over their comic book movie potential at this time, from their extended in-development Justice League of America movie to Batman 3. But a particular task that seems to be bedeviling the business many is their sequel to Superman Returns, which was considered a field office underperformer provided its hefty cost. The task, apparently entitled Superman: Man of Steel, has lingered in limbo since the Bryan Singer-directed Superman Returns opened in 2006. It had been noted in March that Singer would reprise his pointing responsibilities for the sequel, which he formerly said would function vision and more action. (Returns authors Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris won't be back.) However now, based on a product today from Variety writer Anne Thompson, Singer's participation isn't this type of certain thing in the end. Thompson blogged, "Today I was told that if Bryan Singer is prepared to do that, good and it's important at the business to locate the right path, but he might not remain on the task, if he gets in the way. You will find number authors focusing on a Superman software today. The business really wants to figure it out. 'It may be more straightforward to begin with scratch,' one executive admitted."Source: IGN Movies I believe they should both provide another chance to Singer to make this time to a more powerful film around we now have a tale occur stone and figures in place, or simply completely re-vamp everything. I'm both tired of the word "reboot" and reboots themselves (undoubtedly in the sense that each business now believes it's the clear answer to any or all their issues for troubled businesses) but I believe Superman may take advantage of one. You actually want to get the very best out of Supes if they restarted they might better set the tone for many of the more comic-y reports and villains that I believe.
