ha, I saw Matt Groening at Comic-Con. I wish I could have done all four days so I could of had time go see some panels and check out the whole floor rather than basically one or the other.

and that's no surprise right there.
When ever there's a hype up like this- everyone looks to the front line of character rank- and it's always someone riding middle to back of the class line-up.

I coul be Willy as I was atching the episode where Mrs.Krabapple (however you spell it) and Skinner start seeing each other, and after everyone else finds out you just hear Willie say "I'll never look at him in the same way again" doesn't sound like mych but must've been a reference by the way it was said (didn't read spoilers)

I hope it's not Lenny!!! Lenny's the man, even though they hint and Lenny and Carl being together in like every episode...so once again it's too easy.

But did you see the pay offs the characters on this show are getting...holy shit 250 grand per episode!! and they don't even have to be on TV. That's crazy shit.

Nope, Maude was played by Maggie Roswell, who also voiced Helen Lovejoy from 1990-1999 and 2002 onwards, and by Marcia Mitzman Gaven from 1999-2002. There's only really Harry Shearer, Dan Castanaletta, Hank Azaria and to a lesser extent Nancy Cartwright who play lots of big roles. Of the other regulars Yeardley Smith plays just Lisa, Julie Kavner voices virtually no-one outside the Bouvier family, Pamela Hayden plays several of the kids (such as Milhouse and the Flanders boys) and Tress MacNeille (who is in every cartoon show with female characters ever) plays Agnes Skinner and a whole lot of bit parts on top of that. Non-regulars who have played many characters include Jon Lovitz, Phil Hartman (now sadly deceased) and Albert Brooks. Interestingly, they have indeed previously cast someone on a regular basis to play just one minor character: Doris Grau, who played Lunchlady Doris until her death in 1995.

Hm, I don't have a clue. It's almost impossible to guess as well since there are so many characters in the Simpsons. We have to wait to January to find out. Hopefully it'll help the show be more funny again. The last couple years it's been pretty bad.
