IGN Movies - X-Men Origins: Wolverine trailer

Not sure what to make of it. It seems like it's not sure whether it wants the trailer to be a character piece or to win people over with some great action shots and for me it doesn't really do either.

Still, I'm hopeful because Jackman is ace in the role and I loved what Gavin Hood did on Tsotsi.

But I found the trailer, and it looks awesome...seems like a really deep story into the world of Wolverine, and finally we get Gambit, who looked awesome as well. But is that supposed to be Sabertooth? I know Wolverine and Sabertooth are supposed to have a long history but I didn't expect him in this movie.

Yep that is Sabretooth. You can't have a story about Wolverine's past without covering the history between him and Sabretooth.

yes, this IS another must-see of mine!

Sabertooth is a bit off from the way I thought he'd be, but I'd still buy that. the only think similar to the comic character is the thick sideburns and the fangs, which still makes him look sinister with his claws. I love the little part when Sabertooth asks if Wolverine even knows how to kill him. looking at his face again, his features are a lot like Sabertooths. something about his wrinkles around the outside of his eyes...they're VERY similar to Sabertooth's wrinkles.

I believe I saw Gambit, Storm, and The Blob in there.

again, the thing about Sabertooth, I read that Sabertooth is slightly different from Wolverine in the way that Sabertooth is supposed become more beast-like as time goes on. so assuming that that's Sabertooth back then, which is still great, maybe over time Sabertooth will only become more of a beast. he HAS to turn up in the sequels!

wow, someone mentioned to me that Deadpool is in, and it just hit me that must him at about :34, un-masked who Ryan Reynolds is playing as...cool.

The Blob is shown before Deadpool, but who's that black guy right after Deadpoo!? another guy? then a woman?

Being the HUGE Wolverine fan that I am, I know for fact that I'll be catching the Midnight Release for this one.

It looks really awesome, and it's nice to see a cult fav in Gambit make an appearance in the film. The Wolvie/Sabretooth fight looks epic, much like the Wolvie/Deathstrike battle in X2.
