I don't see the point in remaking good movies... I mean, if they were good, why do them again? They should remake Braveheart, this time with a competent director, anyone else than Mel Gibson in the lead role and a music composer who at least can pretend he gives a shit.

Remakes, more often the not; rape the movie industry for a quick dollar.

Especially these shitty Hollywood horror remakes.

Default Does it need a remake?
I'm not sure if this question has ever been asked, but is there any movies that you think should be re-made? This seems like the thing to do within the last few years, so name a film or two that would actually benefit from this.

If anything should be remade it should be a re-remake of that shitty Planet of the Apes. At least I think so
They not going to remake one of that anytime soon since a remake of that with walbulh or whatever was out a couple years ago.

The trailer for the King Kong remake is going to be on tonight at 9PM EST on NBC.

As for remakes, I don't know. I think people get way too upset over them, but there are some crappy ones that are totally uncalled for. We don't need an Evil Dead remake for example. I know they don't even have a cast yet, but there are some movies you just can't top. Old crappy movies with an interesting concept that failed to deliver should be remade.

I wouldn't mind seeing a remake of The Thing. The original was brilliant though.

Canadian Badass: The Thing was a remake. Better than the orignal though... and it contains the most funny "Norwegian" in the history of movies.
