I watched a nature program about humans who live in mountainous areas, in the Himalayas, when someone dies it is so cold the body would not decompose, so they employ this guy who drinks alcohol to numb himself then he gets an axe and chops the dead body up and leaves it for the birds to come and eat it. They believe the ruh leaves the body and goes back into nature.

Allah swt does not punish people unless they have had a messenger.
