But... since in India they wash in the toilet with water - he's probably fresher down there than the rest of his body!

(...)

Is the reason Indian people wash with water a cultural thing and not religious and it's cheaper than tissue?
That's called istnja' and it's Islam stipulating it...

Ok you guys make a good point we should not really laugh. *sigh* if you find something humouring it's hard not to Not having a bath for 38 years just has some humouring aspects about it. Not directly poking at him just some accepts around the situation. Sorry just the thought of the stench is funny or that his family tried to make him shower by pushing him in a river thats funny. sorry but it is kinda humourous. It's not like some misfortune bestowed upon him, he choose this life from superstions and beliefs. Two different situations. Anyhoo no more funny's

Note to self: do not laugh at stinky man.
Nose pegs plz.
Nope can't do it can't stop my giggles. Must try not to

And behaving

{if we don't laugh we cry} smile plz If you saw me fall of a camel you'd laugh even thou it was a misfortune.

You gotta respect the guys isteyqamat though and incredible certainty on words of the priest.
bro fusus is talking about the story of hadrath Junaid Baghdadi [rh] when Hadrath became awestruck at the steadfastness [isteqamatt] of a thief in his time who inspite of having been punished various times [had his hands cut then even his legs] yet not gave up on theft, hadrath was awed at the isteqamat not at the theft, and said if only we achieve this sort of thing on Deen.

wanna read further? get fariduddin attar's tadhkara tul auliya - memories of saints.

there's a brillaint bayan in urdu on this including the story - wanna listen anyone?

fully agree with tommy and startinganew

It has nothing to do with Muslim or kafir. There are some "muslims" who would do the same if their "pir" told them to. It's just a simple case of idiocy.
