Hey, it could be that the demographic of sf is due to the majority of the Muslims around the world being Ahnaf. Most of the mods and users are.

But is it an issue to be made, though? Honestly?

Some of the best posts that I've read in my life on here are from Malikis and Shafi'is. They're like jems scattered about...

Oh yeah, because Ahnaf are Sunnis, too.

*ehem* Brother Sulaiman said it very well, it's just the way it's turned out. Many people here are from the UK, which is majority hanafi and same for some other places in the world. In fact, this forum is the one place where I have met quite a few people who are malikis and Shafi'is. If it wasn't for sunniforum I think Malikis and Shafi'is (sp??) would be mythical beasts of legend I had always heard of but never seen.

Any Hanbalis post here? I guess Hanafis post here the most because their school has the biggest number of followers in the world as well? So more chance of Hanafi posts....

There must be all sorts of Muslims reading SF but not posting.

This is the same reason why hanbali posts are very rare here, there school has the least number of followers.

So it's incorrect to use the term "biased".
Or have you read any attack on other madhahib or people being forced to leave theirs and adopt the Hanafi one?...

This is the same reason why hanbali posts are very rare here, there school has the least number of followers.

i dont think its because there are more hanafis in the world but rather because this is an english forum. if it were an arab forum you would see less hanafis & more of the rest.
