Atheists respond the "scientific" verses aren't detailed enough to be convincing enough to convert. What do you consider the top 3 amazing verses in the Qur'an - this might change in future when scientific facts appear.
We need to keep on top of translations (if you don't know Arabic) because for example Yusuf Ali in 1934 might have translated something from Arabic to English not knowing the verse confirms a scientific fact (or vice versa?). For this reason, modern translations are important to study. If an atheist is not interested to convert - he's going to dismiss the verses as it is. But you can only say "it's a coincidence" a few times before you become foolish to reject the truth presented? AND there's scientific verses in the Ahadith too.... |

It depends on the types of athesist. I for one generally do not give that much attention to science and more so when science is used to justify religion. People with generally slighly weak mind are generally get impressed by these.
Mufti Taqi Uthamani describes these types of knolwedges in his book Quranic Sciences. |

Atheists respond the "scientific" verses aren't detailed enough to be convincing enough to convert. What do you consider the top 3 amazing verses in the Qur'an - this might change in future when scientific facts appear. An ayat at face value may not seem scientific at all. But they will show you the science in it and make it sensible for you. For example people ask why is it so that in Islam 2 women are needed to give witness while only one man is needed. There have been studies that show witnesses are the worst type of evidence, because their emotions will play a big part in their witnessing. And even more study have showed that women are more emotional then most men. Therefore you have a rule in Islam that for every one man there has to be 2 women to witness. So if you want to debate with an atheist, debate about the Sciences of Islam. |
