Breaking the cross means refuting today's Christianity by stating he is not God, the Trinity is false, there's no Original Sin, he was not crucified and today's Bible / Gospels are not 100% the word of God but words of man mixed with some of the original revelation. It doesn't mean breaking the cross literally does it - finding every cross on earth and breaking them.

Similarly to kill the pig(s) means to state he did not permit his followers to eat it (like Christians have misunderstood especially by Matthew 15:11-20, assuming Jesus did say those words). Or does it mean to kill every pig literally? Either having some special power or searching the earth for pigs?

Imam Anwar Al-Awlaki in his Hereafter Series talked about this. He said Jesus (Peace Be Upon Him) will rid the world of the pig.
