Default The most fundamental requirement of a Muslim....
Yakeen (belief/conviction) in the Amals (Actions) that came from the blessed body of the beloved Prophet of Allah (Peace be upon him) and then to replicate these with that Yakeen

This requirement applies to those commands of Allah that are obligatory i.e. Salah to minor acts of holding the cup with two hands to drink water, and those in between.

We understand that all those commands of Allah that are in the Quran and hadith are embedded in the Sunnah (lifestyle) of the Prophet of Allah (Peace be upon him) and that he was the living and breathing Quran; but what does it mean to have 'Yakeen in the Amals'

Every one of his actions brings result, whether in this life or the hereafter. Honey has benefit that he described that effects you in this life, Salah also has benefit in this life and the hereafter.

However most of us lack this Yakeen.

'Talk is cheap' and 'Actions speak louder than words'

I have come to a personal conclusion of understanding that although we may claim something consciously, if the act is not practised up then what we are actually saying is that we do not have the full yakeen in what we say as we do not practice ourselves (I will be the first to admit that I fall in this category)

The solution is to read upon the reward or benefit that has been attributed to an act either in this life or the hereafter or both and then include the practice of this act in our day to day life.

Best is to start with the obligations and then on the more smaller acts in comparison.

Our dawah needs to include the 'yakeen of Amal'. The problem with the conventional Dawah we engage in nowadays is that whatever we are saying about Allah, heaven or hell, life of the Prophets, we all tend to agree on this whilst saying and listening to it and therefore it brushes over us. But to drill on the point of Yakeen of Amal triggers a nerve since most of us lack in this fundamental and agreeing with it does not cut it as it is not something to agree upon but to act out.

In the effort of Dawah we are not really calling a Muslim towards salah but to the 'concentration and devotion' that Sahabah had in their Salah and how via that medium they were able to take directly from the treasures of Allah. The is a substantial difference between calling towards this and Salah.

In fact the one who talks about this point will start to see a mind shift in how they see salah and what useful tool it is.

Any thoughts?
