Islam encourages us to gain knowledge especially religious knowledge, however it is also dangerous in the sense that it can make a person blind? I have read that sometimes too much attention to narration and narrators etc. etc. can blind the heart and make it too preoccupied with other than Allah

. Also knowledge can make someone arrogant and self admiring their own knowledge...blind. What is the right balance?
