Personally when I went there last year for Hajj I was disgusted with all the developments that I'm sure locals were not being consulted let alone other Muslims.

Nothing wrong with expansion but this obsession with erasing our history is just way too much. I saw that Umm Khadijah's house which they turned into a toilet in disgust.

This destruction is due to extemist Wahabis and the arrogance of the Saudi rulers. How else can anybody justify the buidling of a toilet where Lady Khadija's house once stood. This disgusts everyone, whatever their aqeedah - Sufi, Salafi, Tablighi, etc.

Can you provide any authentic source which can pinpoint where the House of Khadija was situated? And No the Independent is not an authentic source

I mean following all the Sunnats, whether its Imamah or Ta'addud.

Why make a fuss about demolishing of historical sites when you (generally) YOURSELF DEMOLISH THE SUNNAH DAILY IN THE BATHROOM INFRONT OF THE MIRROR.

(Refering to beard as Sunnah because every action Rasool Allah did is a Sunnah. Beard is wajib)

What is the proof that the house of Sayyida Khadija was there? Do you have any independent sources stating such?

I certainly understand your sentiments are frustration but its never as simple as that. Im sure you know the story of the person who once picked up a peice of paper which had the name of Allah on it from the floor and gave it such respect etc. Through that amal, Allah changed his life and he became a walli of Allah.

Where does all the respect go in other things? The only respect comes when you are having fun in insulting and cursing Saudi govt

Why does this love start taking effect only when the Saudi Govt is doing extensions?

Actually i read somewhere before that it is a false news that the grave of our beloved mother Khadija RA was turned into toilet.
Sometimes people spread false news out of blind hatred without even verifying properly but Allahu alam as far as the news is concerned.

In the u.k. many buildings over a 100 years , are protected and preserved. So that future generations feel connected with their history.

its funny taht people attack saudi so much. More threads about saudi than the rest of the muslim countires combined. Do you all hate saudi more than the likes of assad, the corrupt rulers in places like krgystan and tajikstan, the likes of the shia in iran, and teh list goes on. I believe there is a very good reason why people attack saudi more than countries where your young girls cannot even wear the hijab in schools and you cannot even pray the fajr prayer. People here are so blinded by their hatred for "wahhabis" that it supercedes anything else.

Do you all really believe that saudi is worse than the other muslim lands? Out of uniterest, where do you believe saudi is in the league table of muslim lands? Anyone who says its less than the top 10 is out of your minds, there is no country more islamic than saudi that I have seen and if they do exist then they are very few in number. Such injustice
