Default Wudu whilst fasting

1. When rinsing the mouth with water and then spitting it out, is it not the case that some water will inevitably stay in the mouth, mixed with your saliva or as drops clinging to your gums or in the crevices of your teeth, etc?
2. If so, how to avoid swallowing any of it?
3. If miswaak is used but you wet the miswaak before use, does will you have to spit out the saliva following its use or not?

The wetness left over by rinsing mouth is overlooked because of it being unavoidable. Just make sure that you do not gargle deep such that some water from gargling goes down your throat. Just rinse you mouth and not gargle.

3. If miswaak is used but you wet the miswaak before use, does will you have to spit out the saliva following its use or not? The wetness of the miswak itself (sap) is overlooked as well. However wetting a miswak and using it is avoidable. Hence such water must not go down your throat. Since it endangers you passing water down the throat, it is makruh to wet miswak and use it.

The "taste" of a non-flavoured (natural) miswak is permitted but be careful of the flavoured one (with mint, lime, etc.) swallowing that will be like swallowing toothpaste - breaking the fast.

What's the position of miswak toothpaste? The ingredients are from the miswak and made into a paste. Can you swallow that or not whilst fasting?

Mufti saab. One final question: how thoroughly would one have to spit out the water taken in for rinsing the mouth? I usually literally spit until I can spit no longer which leaves with a very dry mouth and I just get paranoid about this very easily... Would I just have to spit out the water and then the rest (of the wetness) is overlooked?
