Default Saudi arabia
Asalamualyukum, I came to this forum looking for answers on tassawuf because I have learned from a lot of Salafi scholars. After the proofs were shown to me I believe that tassawuf is fine. Now I uses to think that the way of tw saudi's was good but now that I have figured out the truth I feel like they are a big fitnah. Even bigger than America because they have control over the haram. Now what I want is a video or lecture from a good scholar about what this whole Saudi/Salafi thing is really all about. I am really feeling like they are kwarije because when I used to follow there way I would think that people were kaffirs for very little things. But don't get me wrong this is some very good Salafi scholars I'm just speaking from a general point. It's just there muftis fatwas are very hypocritical and seem very weak.

welcome to non-salafi life. as a former salafi let me make one thing clear: the salafis are a very very broad group consisting of many factions with a few things in common but still very diverse and different in their approach. here is a good read: http://islamicemirate.com/articles/s...lafi-dawa.html

(i disagree with the jihadi salafist part but overall it is excellent)

you will notice only one group in this list is khawarij: the extreme madkhalis.
another one not mentioned in the list who are khawarij are the extreme ahle hadith of indo-pak

rest are not. the muqallids disagree with them but generally relations are cordial. extremists on both sides sometimes lose their heads but imams sudais and shuraym have both visited india and pakistan deobandi dar ul ulooms : )

as for saudi government...stooges of the kuffar and enemies of islam. frontline allies of US (and by extension israel).
