And alhamdulillah my Shaykh as well is from the same area.

"Pathanon ko Allah nay apnay deen kay liye chun liya hai!" -- It translates as: "Allah has chosen the Pathan/Pakhtuns for His Deen".
Allah choose this "pathans" for his ' deen (religion ).
for the translation!

He then justified the statement by regarding the Taliban to have been our saviors, had they not been there to help the Ummah we would have been mercilessly slaughtered by the Kuffaar.

Although my Sheikh is not from Pakhtunkhwa but he holds great love and respect for its people.
I can't imagine any Muslims having a different opinion about this!

No there's no second opinion to it. At least for me this holds no shadow of a doubt.

Lol yes, the way in which I put it seems quite pathetical, I admit...

I wish you could tell us more. But I understand.
I'm sure about it! ;-)

... Err... Kashf does not change the balance either way but your love, if it is for the sake of Allah (SWT) which I assume to be the case, might help not only in getting the shade on the Final Day but even in securing the ticket to Allah (SWT)'s permanent guest house.

Oh...
That was a despicable episode taking place a few years ago. I can't take myself to see that video again - actually I think I've never saw it in its entirety.
The woman is a ma'loona right-wing Islamophobe who in the video insults Sayyidina Rasulallah ; at this, a brother is rightfully emotionally overwhelmed and protests.
The TV presenter then interrumpt the program - no need to be said, not due to the hateful remarks by the ma'loona, but due to the brother's reaction.
I have reasons to suspect it all was constructed to blame Muslims and show them as "intolerant" etc..

Very wise !
That is exactly what they do.Many of their actions can not be logically explained unless we take them as a deliberate act of provocation, presenting our protest thereof as intolerance. What they forget is,in the end it will backfire,as they are misguiding none other than their own people. We Muslims know very well that kuffar can not be our friends, and therefore trying to appease them in anyway simply woun,t work, they are trying to win a population by a propaganda war which is already their,s.As for as Muslim countries are concerned, their propaganda is only counter productive.
It really does not make any sense !

Sad. I could not make that out.
So this does tell us some thing about the average mindset, no?
A woman was persistently bad mouthing beloved Prophet (PBUH) and the populace expected Muslims to gulp it down.

I'll again come back to the Dawah question. What kind of Dawah activity will be conducive in Italy?

As a "European-Western" country, I don't think there is much difference with other countries of the area with regards to the way of giving da'wah here, especially considering that Italy shares both the same types of Islamophobic prejudices elaborated in the centuries by the catholic church, the orientalist colonialism, and now the "war on terror" propaganda.
The only difference would be on a lighter necessity of basing the da'wah on a confrontation with today's version of Bible, as, being Italians originally catholics, there isn't that strong attachment with the Bible which instead you find with protestants, in the USA especially.
So, on one side we have Italy sharing the same Islamophobic propaganda as other "western" countries, on the other, I think that every single person is different in the way in which dealing with him, and for every individual there is a specific path to Allah (through Islam, obviously).

I'm more in need of your suggestions.
