AssalaamsWW,
Whats the established view of each of the 4 schools wrt completing the full quran in taraweh salaah. Grateful if knowledgeble brothers/ulama, from each school, can state their schools respective positions. Prefer if hanafi's give their school's view, shafi's give their school's view, Maliki's give their school's view and hanbali's give their school's view. |

Very relevant for the people living in the West for these summer Ramadans,
''People exaggeratedly emphasize completing the Qur'an in tarawih. It is neither obligatory nor emphasized. Yes, it is praiseworthy--but so is reciting an extent that people can sustain; and that doesn't overwhelm them (esp given how late)... and we balance it with group dhikr, some songs, some reminders... [and no fundraising "time outs"]'' - Shaykh Farāz Rabbānī. |
