People who are assigned to 'profile' won't need some 'polls' .... They'll extract EVERY information about you...some of that information would be a surprise even for you.

I just opened this thread for no particular reason...just a casual thread... why scared in participating? Its not even anything 'pesonal' like "what is your age" blah blah...

To be honest, in my opinion, location can be even more personal than age.

Uhh 'location' can be , but nationality/country isn't! Like I had asked "Which City are you from etc" ..This is personal....but telling someone that you are from United States or Pakistan or India etc isn't that personal, I guess.

It could be very personal. What is personal to one person is not necessarily personal to another. Kinda like the age thing; I have no problem revealing my age, but others do.

But if you must know, I am from the country where, as someone on this forum stated, people sound dumb.

There are dumb people in every country on earth.

People may talk about a certain country if the topic comes up. You'll find threads on this forum attacking all of the countries listed in the poll and some that aren't listed.

But in my country, we all just sound dumb apparently.

I agree. People attack others all the time based upon where they are from.

People sound differently to different people. There is no "American" accent, for example. A southern American accent seems like a redneck accent to many Americans, a New Yorker/Jersey accent sounds like a mobster accent, and the "normal" accent is the Midwestern accent. Here in Canada, a "Newfie" accent also sounds like a hick accent. Again, all these sound differently to different ears. Even in Pakistan, a person who speaks Urdu with a pathan accent, especially in Karachi, is not seen as someone respectable.

I think , this is because the OP (me) chose 'Pakistan' as my choice...

The choice of poll poster become 'italicized' ...

Or probably majority post become italicized? Don't know

The choice you select is italicized. If you chose "India", India would be italicized.
