Ramadhan Mubarak to all

A quick question if someone knowledgeable in Hanafi fiqh can help me inshAllah.

I have already missed two initial fasts after severe gastroenteritis and dont want to miss others.

I will be travelling on the 28th July of this month. This is my travel schedule.

Depart location A at 14:20 local time
Reach location B(transit) at 20:15 local time. Depart 22:00
Reach location C at 18:10 local time next day

Total travel time 20hrs 50 minutes. Breakdown:
A---->B 5 hours
B transit wait = 2 hrs
B---->C = 14 hours

Two questions-

Is it obligatory to fast whilst travelling?

If I do fast and most probably inshAllah will - my plan is Break fast Day 1 of travel in location B on arrival and I plan to do Suhur for the next day fast whilst in the plane at the Suhur time of destination which ends around 1 and a half hour into the flight.

Please guide me if what I am doing is right.
