Default Jesus' greeting v Hello v Assalaamo 'alaykum
And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace [be] to this house. Luke (10:5)

And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace [be] unto you. (Luke 24:36)

Then the same day at evening, being the first [day] of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace [be] unto you. (John 20:19)

And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: [then] came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace [be] unto you. (John 20:26)
-------------------------------------------------

The greeting of Jesus was "Peace be with you" and not "Howdy, Hello, Hi, Good Morning, Morning, Hiya, Yo!". The Old Testament also has references to the greeting of "Peace".

Who today on earth greets like this? When did you last hear a Christian greet you with "PBWY"? Once in a blue moon; maybe at the Church Service but that's about it. If Jesus was here today and a Muslim saw him and greeted him with "Peace Be With You" - he would think this is my follower whom I had taught to greet!

And... if a Muslimah greeted him - he would think of his mother the Blessed Virgin Mary (Maryam (as)) because the Muslimah's loose modest dress and headscarf would be very similar. Same goes for the Catholic Nuns!

Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:

Whereas ye know not what [shall be] on the morrow. For what [is] your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

For that ye [ought] to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. (James 4:13-15)

Again it's the Muslim who routinely says "If God Wills" - Insha-Allah.
