Default Please help!!! Good sources to read Qur'an?
Asslam-o-Alaikum brothers/Sisters ,

First of all Ramdan Karim! Secondly , I wanted ask about good sources to read Quran with translation? I know there are many websites but are there any websites that also provide some context/commentary/tafsir on Qur'an , so that the reader can fully understand the Qur'anic Wisdom? Any source that would be suitable for a 'beginner'? Any ideas on how to study Qur'an? Like start from where or what are the MOST important chapters of Qur'an (I know all Qur'an is important but still) etc ...

Are there any PDF of Qur'anic translations? Preferably in Urdu?

Please help me in this regard.... I will be very helpful!!!

Jazak'Allah !!!

A non-muslim sister raced to the first position leaving us Muslims in second place

Sister, I m aware of your opinion regarding this. But do re-consider embracing Islam.

May Allah guide all of us in the right path. ameen.

Thank you for the invitation to Islam.

It was not my intention to be first to reply. I just happened to be up at 3 a.m. today!

But there are other questions that Auzer had regarding reading the Qur'an that I did not answer. Perhaps someone else can give him better advice than I can regarding how best to start reading the qur'an (ie. where to start). As for me, I just read beginning to end; although, next time (when I get to my third read through) I would like to read chronologically.

On another forum, a couple of someones suggested reading the Qur'an from back to front. I can understand how that might be beneficial for a new reader, because if someone starts at the beginning, I think it can be too easy to become bogged down and then quit. If you look at the maariful quran website, there are significantly more downloads for volume 1 than for any other volume. Apparently, a great many people begin with good intention, but never make it beyond volume 1. And volume 1 only contains the first two surah.

Or maybe there is another method of reading that someone could suggest?
