The brother in the actual video is an absolute hero. If he is still alive, may Allah Ta'ala give him strength, and if he has been martyred may Allah Ta'ala grant him the loftiest place in Jannah. Over the last few weeks, this man has treated hundereds of wounded in his neighbourhood, as well as seen countless die. He is in most of the videos that have come out of Baba Amr, most of which are too graphhic to post. He has risked his own life for the sake of others, and he has seen his own close people die. As reletnless as the shelling was, this man has treated the wounded and tried to get out the story of every single person who died out to the world; treating them as another person with a life as opposed to another number in the list of dead. Not only has this man warmly cared for his brethren, he was the same doctor that buried Marie Colvin and Remi the French photographer, as well as treated Paul Conroy and Edith the French Journalist, the latter two having most probably died were it not for his efforts. In some videos, his eyes are dead and tired having seen too much horror, in others, there is a little emotion in his voice...this is the first video I have seen with so much emotion. For a person to say 'the bombing now is so bad that we are wishing to go back to the shelling of the days before' shows how desparate the situation must be.
The duaas of an oppressed is very dangerous. These filthy leaders has no clue what they are dealing with. May Allah punish them for all their crimes in this world and the next. Ameen. |

To those of you who are following events in Syria closely, alhamdulillah, the doctor in the initial video is alive and well as is his whole medical team barring one person, if I am not mistaken he was martyred, may Allah Have Mercy on him...this brave team is waiting to get back into the baba amr district 'to fulfil their purpose'...subhanAllah, it was one of the sisters from this team that was attending to the wounded when some people rushed in with a two year old child saying they had found him lying on the street, she turned around and it was her grandson...sadly, they could not do anything for him and she had to watch him die...heartbreaking. These people have suffered very personal losses, they could easily lose hope, but their strength and determination is inspiring, may Allah increase them in courage and spirit. Ameen.

I'm not sure if many people are aware, but Khalid ibn Waleed, May Allah Be Pleased With Him is buried in Homs, Syria. May Allah grant victory to the neighbours of this great Companion, just as He granted victory to him many times before. |

Sister Acacia, Baarakillah
But can we call the people dying as martyrs? |

Massacre in Syria today.
http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/f8a155aa-6...#axzz1owaRHAMq According to another website 94 people killed, 40+ of them in Homs alone. Most of them women and children killed in horrific ways. |

Sister Acacia, Baarakillah The syrian army is killing its own people from who they came from, so i cant see how we can diferentiate between the two sides. If people of Homs had the power they would go around killing the other side too, would they be martyrs too. |

the syrian army is fighting for taghut...they are fighting for the false God called bathism...arab nationalism...secularism....nasirisim....and every other ism and scism except islam. The Syrian people on the other hand are fighting for religious freedom, for freedom from slavery and giving jizya and being subservient to the dogs called alawis. The noble Syrian people and the army of taghut cannot be compared.
