Asalmualikum
I need some good tips to get married. I'm 21 and everytime I mention it to my parents they tell me to wait till I finish school. I feel that really need/want to get a wife soon at least engaged, but I don't know what to do to find one halal way without my parents help. I'm too shy to find one myself anyway. My friend told me there is a dua from sura al-furqan, but I dnt have it memorized and he didn't say which ayah(s) it is. So please share with any duas and make dua for me too please.

There is a hadith (whose mafoom is) that it is duty of parents to keep good names for their children and fulfill their needs till they become mature, and when they become mature , arrange their marriage, if a person attains maturity and his/her parents didnt arrange marriage for him/her and he/she fell into sins (because of not marrying), then the sin would be on his/her parents due to their negligence ....!

Pray salatul hajaat and Request you parents politely and tell them the above hadith with hikmah...!

Write Aayat number 131 and 132 of surah Ta-Ha (Chapter 20) on a paper and envelop it in some clean cloth and then put it over your arm ...insha allah soon you will get married

Note: Aayats of qur'an are to be written in the state of ablution and one should not take this taweez to toilet, one should put off taweej while going to toilet

it is among mujarib aamal not masnoon aamal.....mujarib aamal are those aamals (tips) which our aslaaf (old elders , scholars, saints) have done and found them to be effective for solving problem....this tip is mentioned by Hakeemul Ummat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi Rh.A in his book Qurani Aamal...In hadith there is salatul hajaat for every problem which a person can face, so i suggest you to pray 2 rakaat salatul hajaat for your issue and then do the said mujarib aamal...!
