In the UK its very likely that the start of Ramdhan will on different days this year though its very likely that Eid Fitr and Eid Adha will be the same day for all in UK.

What happened to the live youtube stream they had for both Makkah and Madina (last year?) .......

All caluclations being taken into account, it would be extreamely difficult to sight the moon at plus minus 4 hours on Thursday night in Makka Mukarrama

In the past 5 years, the date published by Umm al-Qurra as the 1st of Ramadan was the date which was announced as the 1st.

In the past 11 years, there was a difference only twice - in 2003 and 2006.

thats a good point i think. Br Student_of_knowledge mashallah does brill job in finding all the live streaming links then regularly adding them here. However when posting links specifically for the 1st taraweeh it would be better to add "Saudi's 1st Taraweeh May..." ...
