Default Advise on Marraige
I'm planning on getting married in the next 2-3 months inshallah so i was wondering if i can get advice from anyone. It can be anything regarding the whole concept but below are some of the things that i am looking for.
Book recomendations on marraige or lectures ect
books/lectures on women issues (i was told that it is really important for a man to know this also)
rights of the wife and her family
issues regarding aspects of marraige
your personal advice (dont mind jokes but keep within the limits of shariah)
and so on.
Jazakallah

P.s Before i get told off i have already searched the forum and didnt find anything detailed apart from two book recomendations which are Ashrafs blessings and Mufti adams book so i would like to get some comments pouring in inshallah.

The thing i learned after observing other marriages is that the woman ("ridaa" or to go to heaven her "ridaa" is transferred from her parents to her husband after marriage) so that means if the husband said one thing and her parents another thing she must obey her husband (if its not related to haram).

Marry a pious beautiful girl.
Make dua to Allah, he gives rizq to fishes in Ocean - he can give a good wife for you.

Any specific sort of advice you need?

Biggest advice I can think of at the moment is that just as you don't consider yourself perfect, don't expect your spouse to be perfect. And certainly don't think that you will be in agreement on every matter.

edit: some articles

Jazakallah for that.

Any specific sort of advice you need? Thing is that i am the first to get married in my family as well as my outer family so i dont have no one to ask for advise. In general I am looking for any type of advise to do with the subject. But some subjects may include:
Fiqh of marraige
Major pitfalls to be aware of beforehand
How to keep the marraige going the right way
How to keep the family a pious and religous one (obviously first myself then the wife and any kids Allah (swt) blesses me with)
I also want to learn about womens issues such as haidh ect. (some may think why do you need to know that but i have heard it to be important)
you can add anything i may have missed
maybe i am just worrying too much.

one other aim i have with this thread is that i have seen many people post with problems that they have after marraige so maybe those who plan to get married can have a whole thread dedicated to the subject with lots of material will be able have more knowledge regarding the subject.
I have also seen the similar threads that have opened before but they only get a few replies for some reason or another.
