Sufi Islam is the mystical dimension of Islam which focuses on inner spirituality and inner piety. Throughout history , Sunni Islam looked Sufi Islam with suspicion. Many Muslims would see Sufis and followers of Sufi Islam as "heretics" ... Sufi Islam , and the great Sufi saints , produced some of the world's most spiritually uplifted poetry. Islam in South Asia spread due to the great Punjabi and Sindhi Sufi saints of the region...
So what are your views of Sufi Islam? Leaving aside the extreme practices of some people , like bowing at the graves of Sufi saints , how you view Sufis? Thanks.... |

There is no such thing as "Sufi Islam". Tasawwuf is a branch of Islamic science, like the study of ahadith, tafsir, etc. Sufis are not a sect. It is not a "different approach" it's just another name for Tazikiyyah/Ihsan. Many deviants have usurped the title of Sufi, these are the people Ahlus Sunnah wal Jammah have always had a problem with. You have no idea what you are talking about, and are here yet again spreading misguidance.
