obviously we dont think of anyone beneath us but in a wordly or deeni positions sense
You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him. If you want to know what a man’s like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals or superiors how easy it is to get that glass of water or want to give food to hafesaheb,or shaykh or the big guy in town what about those of whom many dont even realize they exist surely everyone deserves the same attention if not more for being in more lowly positions |

"The weak, the forlorn and the poor should not grieve. o*n the contrary, they should be happy. Parents usually care more for their handicapped and weaker children. Similarly, Allah's special Gaze of Rahmat is focussed o*n the weak and oppressed o*nes."

This is interesting, I heard that it is sunnah to treat those in higher status with the type of behaviour they are used to, and those of lower status similarly. I read this in a book by Sufi Iqbal, describing the adherence to the sunnah of Maulana Muhammad Zakariya (RA). I was a little confused when I read it and it would be good if someone could clarify this. For example I invite wealthy and poor people to a meal with 2 different tables, is it sunnah to give the wealthy better quality food and the poorer people the type of food they are used to.
