Al-Quran:

[ Surah Al-An'am#6 : Ayah #120]

And abandon open and secret sin;

surely they who earn sin.....

shall be recompensed with what they earned.[6:120]

Al-Hadith:

[Sahih Muslim]

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira (Radi Allah Anhu) that:
"When, the son of Adam recites the Ayat of Sajdah (prostration) and then falls down in prostration, the Satan goes into seclusion and weeps and says: Alas, and in the narration of Abu Kuraib the words are: Woe unto me, the son of Adam was commanded to prostrate, and he prostrated and Paradise was entitled to him and I was commanded to prostrate, but I refused and am doomed to Hell."

Al-Hadith:

Bukhari :: Volume 1 :: Book 3 :: Hadith 106
Narrated 'Ali:

The Prophet said, "Do not tell a lie against me for whoever tells a lie against me (intentionally) then he will surely enter the Hell-fire."

Ayahs of the day:

Or do you suppose you will enter paradise without there having happened to you the likes of what happened to those who passed away before you?
Misery and distress befell them, and they were so shaken that the messenger and those who believed with him said,
"When will God's help come?" Ah, but the help of God is near!

[2: 214]

Hadith of the day:

By He in whose Hand my soul is,..
you will enjoin good and forbid evil,.. or
God will soon send upon you a chastisement from Him,..
then you will pray Him and He will not respond.

[Ahmad]

Sahih Bukhari Ahadith

Volume 6, Book 60, Number 2:

Narrated Abu Huraira(r.a.):
Allah's Apostle said, "When the Imam says: 'Ghair-il-Maghdubi 'Alaihim Walad-Dallin (i.e. not the path of those who earn Your Anger, nor the path of those who went astray (1.7)), then you must say, 'Ameen', for if one's utterance of 'Ameen' coincides with that of the angels, then his past sins will be forgiven."

Volume 6, Book 60, Number 3:

Narrated Anas(r.a.):
The Prophet said, "On the Day of Resurrection the Believers will assemble and say, 'Let us ask somebody to intercede for us with our Lord.' So they will go to Adam and say, 'You are the father of all the people, and Allah created you with His Own Hands, and ordered the angels to prostrate to you, and taught you the names of all things; so please intercede for us with your Lord, so that He may relieve us from this place of ours.' Adam will say, 'I am not fit for this (i.e. intercession for you).' Then Adam will remember his sin and feel ashamed thereof. He will say, 'Go to Noah, for he was the first Apostle, Allah sent to the inhabitants of the earth.' They will go to him and Noah will say,
'I am not fit for this undertaking.' He will remember his appeal to his Lord to do what he had no knowledge of, then he will feel ashamed thereof and will say, 'Go to the Khalil--r-Rahman (i.e. Abraham).' They will go to him and he will say, 'I am not fit for this undertaking. Go to Moses, the slave to whom Allah spoke (directly) and gave him the Torah .' So they will go to him and he will say, 'I am not fit for this undertaking.' and he will mention (his) killing a person who was not a killer, and so he will feel ashamed thereof before his Lord, and he will say, 'Go to Jesus, Allah's Slave, His Apostle and Allah's Word and a Spirit coming from Him. Jesus will say, 'I am not fit for this undertaking, go to Muhammad the Slave of Allah whose past and future sins were forgiven by Allah.' So they will come to me and I will proceed till I will ask my Lord's Permission and I will be given permission. When I see my Lord, I will fall down in Prostration and He will let me remain in that state as long as He wishes and then I will be addressed.' (Muhammad!) Raise your head. Ask, and your request will be granted; say, and your saying will be listened to; intercede, and your intercession will be accepted.' I will raise my head and praise Allah with a saying (i.e. invocation) He will teach me, and then I will intercede. He will fix a limit for me (to intercede for) whom I will admit into Paradise. Then I will come back again to Allah, and when I see my Lord, the same thing will happen to me. And then I will intercede and Allah will fix a limit for me to intercede whom I will let into Paradise, then I will come back for the third time; and then I will come back for the fourth time, and will say, 'None remains in Hell but those whom the Quran has imprisoned (in Hell) and who have been destined to an eternal stay in Hell.' " (The compiler) Abu 'Abdullah said: 'But those whom the Qur'an has imprisoned in Hell,' refers to the Statement of Allah:

"They will dwell therein forever." (16.29)

Surah Baqarah #2..Ayat #62

62. "Verily, those who believe and... those who are Jews and Christians, and Sabians (Sabi'in),...

whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and does righteous good deeds...

shall have their reward with their Lord, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve."[2:62]

Hadith..

Hazrat Abduallah bin Umar [RA] says, that the Prophet [SAW] has said:Whatever a man asks Allah on reciting the following will be given, one thousand virtues are written in his record and he is advanced one thousand stages, while Allah appoints 70,000 angels for him to pray for his forgiveness till the Day of Judgment.

Alhamdu Lil-la-hil-lazi Tawa-zoa’a Kul-lu-shai-in Bi Az-matihi
Wal Hamdu Lil-la-hil-lazi Zal-la Kul-lo-shai-in Li-Iz-zatihi
Wal Hamdu Lil-la-hil-lazi Kha-zoa’a Kul-lo-shai-il Li Mul-kehee
Wal Hamdu Lil-la-hil-lazi Is-tas-la-ma Kul-lo-shai-il Li-Qud-ra-tihi

[All Praise is due to Allah, before Whose Grandeur every thing is humbled and
All Praise is due to Allah, before Whose Greatness every thing is subdued and
All Praise is due to Allah, before Whose Dominion every thing is abased and
All Praise is due to Allah, before Whose Strength every thing surrenders]

very pondering hadith!

The Prophet said...

"Allah will give shade to seven...on the Day when there will be no shade... but His...

These seven are:

a just ruler

a youth who has been brought up in the worship of Allah
(i.e. worships Allah sincerely from childhood),

a man whose heart is attached to the masjid
(i.e. to pray the compulsory prayers in the masjid in congregation)

two persons who love each other only for Allah's sake and they meet and part in Allah's cause only

a man who refuses the call of acharming woman of noble birth for illicit intercourse with her and says: 'I am afraid of Allah'

a man who gives charitable gifts so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has given
(i.e. nobody knowshow much he has given in charity)

and

a person who remembers Allah in seclusion and his eyes are then flooded with tears."
